Welcome to our Year 6 Podcast
Our Year 6 children this year have taken on a new mission... a podcast!
Working in small groups, our children have to plan and then record their very own Foulds podcast episode. They choose a theme, carry out research (including speaking to others if needed) and prepare their content in their own time. Once ready, they then record their podcast with me (their headteacher).
This project is not only a fun, creative opportunity, it is also a way to teach children about modern methods of communication as well as the importance of staying safe online. The process is yet another way for our children to learn how to present their ideas effectively and how to collaborate respectfully in a digital space. We wanted to share the podcasts on here to give our Year 6s the sense of achievement they deserve from it.
