Secondary Transfer

It's important to be well informed when choosing a secondary school for your child.
Each year secondary schools hold open evenings for prospective parents, and many allow tours during the school day.  Some schools are selective entry schools where you may be required to take part in some sort of selective test or banding test e.g. a musical aptitude test, dance aptitude test, or entrance exam. Some of these tests take place in the Summer term when your child is in year 5, so it's important that you keep an eye out for information about dates/times as they appear.
As information becomes available during the year we will upload it to the section below.

Each year Mrs Browett holds a secondary transfer meeting for parents and carers of children in year 5 and  year 4 with the caveat that things may change for next year.
The 2017 secondary transfer meeting will be at 7.30pm on Wednesday 24th May, preceded by a meeting about Sayers Croft School Journey at 7pm for parents in year 5 only.
The 2016 secondary transfer meeting was at 7.30pm on Wednesday 25th May and the 2016 secondary transfer presentation to parents is available below.
